THE COLL I REGÀS HOUSE
Casa Coll i Regàs is a Modernista building by the architect Josep Puig i Cadafalch. It was commissioned in 1898 by the businessman Joaquim Coll i Regàs, a prominent textile manufacturer from Mataró.
The building is a prime example of Catalan Modernisme, and in 2000, the Generalitat de Catalunya declared it a Cultural Asset of National Interest. It is, without a doubt, the Modernista jewel of the Fundació Iluro.
