The Casa Coll i Regàs with modernist vermouth
Description
The Casa Coll i Regàs with modernist vermouth
Discover the modernist house Casa Coll i Regàs designed by Josep Puig i Cadafalch and end the visit with a modernist vermouth on the terrace.
The project for Casa Coll i Regàs began in 1897. That same year, a new drink, vermouth, was created in Italy.
In Catalonia at the beginning of the 20th century (20), “making vermouth” was an excuse to meet with friends and family to enjoy a light meal at noon, before lunch.
Especially on Sundays after going to mass.
For this reason, this activity proposes that you take the guided tour and then go “making vermouth”, as the wealthy bourgeoisie did, on the terrace-garden of Casa Coll i Regàs.
During the activity, you will visit the main floor and the exterior area of the house. The activity may be cancelled if the minimum number of participants is not reached.
